Thank you for telling me about this presentation and sending me the link! I truly mean it. This was beautifully presented and made me emotional because as Rabbi Motti was talking about how he felt an emptiness inside but didn’t know why or what that emptiness was, I was able to really resonate with him. In my High School, a lot of the kids do drugs and bad things so I can understand how he got caught up in that scene from what I have seen first hand, but I love how he bounced back from those trying times and found himself. I hope to get more connected with Hashem in the future like he did. I realized that it is never too late to connect with G-d. His presentation reminded me of the great feeling of being apart of the Chabad center or even just a Jewish community in general. I feel like being apart of a Jewish culture is something that I had been missing because I’m not surrounded by many Jewish people my age or at all and I feel like I found a bit of myself today that I had been searching for, for a while now.
